About

I'm Steve Harris. People call me Steve The AI Guy.

I'm an independent AI consultant. I work one-to-one with business owners, freelancers and busy professionals to find where their week leaks hours — then prescribe the specific AI tools that give those hours back.

Steve Harris, known as Steve The AI Guy
The short version

I find hours people didn't know they had.

Most people know AI could save them time. Almost nobody has the spare hours to work out which AI. That gap is the entire job: I do the research once, properly, for your specific week — and hand back a short list you can act on the same day.

[Bio — Steve, add the three beats here: your background and what you built before this; what you do now and who you help; and why you ended up focused on cutting through AI noise for people who aren't technical.]

[Credibility — any real numbers you're happy to publish: assessments run, hours reclaimed, years working with AI/automation. Leave this out entirely rather than estimate.]

How I work

Three rules I don't break.

They're why the recommendations tend to stick rather than becoming another abandoned subscription.

.01
Off-the-shelf, never bespoke

Everything prescribed is something you can sign up for and use the same day. No development, no integrations that need a engineer, nothing that breaks when a vendor changes an API.

.02
Three to seven tools, not thirty

The problem was never a shortage of AI tools — there are more than 10,000. The problem is knowing which few matter for how you specifically work. Most people need a handful.

.03
Hours, not hype

Every recommendation is measured the same way: how many hours a week does this give back, what does it cost, and how long does it take to set up. If it doesn't earn its place on those three numbers, it isn't prescribed.
